The team at Christian Life Events is made up of independent professionals who are strong and active in their Christian faith. We recognize that pastoral services are very personal and therefore, the team member you select to work with will be who you will work with absent an unforeseen circumstance arising, which is very rare.
Pastoral Team
Prior to his ordination Pastor Bob taught religious education and Confirmation preparation classes for almost 10 years.
After a course of study Pastor Bob was Ordained as a Deacon in July of 2001 in the Chapel at Fort Belvoir, Virginia by Bishop Thomas Charles Clary. Bishop Clary's Apostolic Succession is derived from the lineage of Matthew and Vilatte.
As a Deacon, Pastor Bob has also assisted at churches in Maryland & Virginia and served as a Chaplain for Howard County Fire & Rescue.
Pastor Bob currently serves as the team leader for Christian Life Events Ministry and is Chaplain for the Sykesville Memorial American Legion Post. He attends Grace Community Church in Fulton, Maryland.
Mark has been in pastoral ministry for over 30 years, having served in several pastoral ministry position over that time.
For the last 12 years Mark has served in a pastoral role Grace Community Church in Fulton, Maryland. Prior to Grace, Mark served as Pastor of the Chapel of the Good Shepherd, Yeardon, PA from 1990-1995. Mark started his ministerial and pastoral work on the college campus of Syracuse University in 1982, working with university students as a student minister and honorary Chaplin. Mark then moved to Philadelphia and continued to work as a student minister and Chaplin affiliate on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania from 1988 to 1995.
Mark is a gifted teacher and speaker. Married for 32 years and committed to helping you launch your marriage, with a wedding ceremony that captures and represents your values, hopes, dreams and desires. Mark Goodrich is authorized to serve and officiate marriages in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
Lay Minister
Jay has assisted Pastor Bob with wedding rehearsal and other duties since the Christian Life Events were founded. He has now expanded his responsibilities to participating in the funeral ministry as well.
